BPAA - Bowling University Education is the leading source of knowledge, trends, and best practices in the bowling and attractions industries. Our programs provide attendees with valuable insights to improve their businesses and enhance their skills. Each year, we invite passionate and knowledgeable speakers to share their expertise at events such as State/Regional association events, the International Bowl Expo, the Bowling Summit, and various Bowling University seminars, boot camps, and schools. We are now accepting submissions for our events in this and the next calendar years. If you are interested in speaking at any of these events, either as a keynote or as part of a breakout session, we encourage you to submit a proposal today!

Our Audience:

Bowling University Education program attendees include:

  • Bowling center and bowling-based entertainment center owners and operators
  • Management and key staff members
  • Buyers attending the event trade shows
  • Staff from various departments within the bowling industry


  • Our goal is to provide attendees with actionable insights they can implement in their businesses immediately.

We are seeking proposals on a range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Other innovative or relevant topics

Proposals

Proposal Submission Process
To be considered as a speaker, follow these steps:
1. Complete the Online Submission Form: Provide all required information, ensuring it meets the character limits.
2. Double-Check Your Submission: Review and verify all details before submitting, as this information may be used in marketing materials.
3. Avoid Copying from MS Word: Do not copy and paste from Word documents, as formatting issues may arise.
4. Receive Confirmation: Once submitted, you will receive an email confirmation and a summary of your proposal.
5. Follow Up: If you do not receive a response, contact our Education Department.
Note: Proposals are reviewed throughout the calendar year, and speakers may be notified at any time. 


Proposal Review Process
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
  • Educational Merit
  • Relevance and timeliness for the industry
  • Practicality and usefulness to attendees
  • Adherence to our non-commercial presentation policy
Note: Successful proposals should focus on delivering valuable, actionable insights without promoting specific products, brands, or services.




Speaker Guidelines

To ensure the success of our events, all selected speakers must adhere to the following guidelines:

What we expect from speakers:

  • Submit electronic versions of slides, handouts, and other materials at least 3 weeks before the event. These materials will be made available to attendees in PDF format.
  • Use BPAA-provided computers for presentations. Personal computers are not permitted.
  • Limit sessions to a maximum of two speakers per session.
  • Maintain an educational focus throughout the presentation. Sales pitches and product promotions are strictly prohibited.
  • Grant BPAA and Bowling University permission to record sessions and distribute recordings and materials via our websites and social media platforms. (If you do not wish for you session to be recorded, you must notify the Education Department in writing and receive confirmation.)
  • Sign a speaking agreement and provide a completed W-9 form. Compensation and/or travel reimbursements will not be processed without these documents.

What speakers can expect from BPAA:

  • Audio/Visual Support: BPAA will provide a computer, projector, screen, speaker's podium, and microphones. Additional equipment requests must be made in writing at least 3 weeks prior to event.
  • Promotion: BPAA will promote speakers and sessions through websites, social media, emails, and printed materials.
  • Access to Materials: BPAA will make electronic supplemental materials (slides, handouts, etc.) accessible to attendees before the session.

Note: BPAA does not print or distribute materials on-site. Speakers are encouraged to go green by posting materials electronically.

Important Deadlines


  • Proposals for the 2026 International Bowl Expo must be submitted by September 30, 2025.
  • Proposals for other events are accepted year-round.
