Increasing Guest Frequency with the “START IT” program

Every guest who comes through your doors is a potential bowler and possibly one day a league bowler.  At BPAA Bowling University we teach to the Bowler Life Cycle which helps all of us identify where someone falls in the life cycle and which might be the best product to enhance their bowling experience.

Now that you have a visual of the Bowler Life Cycle and a better understanding of each group, we can continue the discussion about how to invite a guest back and make it easy for everyone on the team to remember.

The START IT guest engagement program was developed by the league development committee to provide operators a simple, easy to teach program that allows all team member to invite guests back for another visit.

T Tell them hello
A Ask about their visit
R Read the guest, identify Life Cycle Stage
T Tell them what we have

I Invite them back.  Put something in their hand
T Thank them for coming
